The Khamsin opens up completely new possibilities for creative development with its versatility and unbelievably compact dimensions. Like all devices of the Ayrton product line, the Khamsin is also available in two versions: The Khamsin-S is designed for scenic applications. The new LED module offers pure white light with a colour temperature of 6,500K and a record output of 40,000 lumens. The optical system with a 158mm front lens provides an 8:1 zoom range with beam angles of 7°-58° and ensures a uniform light image without a hotspot. Fully equipped, the Khamsin features a CMY color mixing system, a variable CTO and a complementary color wheel with six fixed colors, a rotatable 4-way iris slider unit, two indexable and rotatable gobo wheels with six interchangeable HD glass gobos each, an endless rotating effects wheel, two variable frost filters, a 15-blade iris as well as a 5-facet round prism and a 4-facet line prism.
