Product description:
The SB18 is the standard subwoofer of the modular WST® line sources and the coaxial X series. It extends the usable frequency range of the systems down to 32 Hz. With its compact dimensions and integrated rigging, the subwoofer is ideal for flying in configurations with KARA. A specially developed 18 ”loudspeaker chassis with minimal power compression and further reduced distortion in a dual bass reflex housing ensures exceptional“ punch ”and high sensitivity. The bass reflex channels have a progressive profile and ensure a laminar air flow with minimal noise caused by turbulence, even at full power. These properties result in high precision and musicality in the SB18 subwoofer. The SB18 is controlled and amplified via the LA4x, LA8 and LA12X controller output stages. The integrated DSP filtering includes the latest crossover functions, system EQ and limiter to protect the speaker chassis against thermal and mechanical overload.
