MA NPU (Network Processing Unit) bundles the computing power in the network and offers the same CPU speed as the grandMA2 consoles.

It processes 4,096 parameters.

The MA NPU is easy to operate thanks to its clear touch screen.
All important information is visible at a glance.
With eight DMX XLR5pin connectors on the rear panel the MA NPU offers a wide range of network applications.
The MA NPU is the link between the Ethernet world and DMX controlled end devices.
In addition, the MA NPU can also be used to solve other control tasks, whereby the best performance is achieved in the MA-Net2. For decentralized DMX networks, the MA NPU converts the incoming Ethernet data into DMX512-A data.
MA-Net2 and MA-Net are supported for the conversion of DMX data. Eight independent DMX ports, which can be configured as both DMX inputs and DMX outputs, output the data.
In a network, several consoles share the available MA NPU.
This makes it easy to share DMX-capable terminal devices.
Furthermore, redundant operation is possible without additional components such as DMX mergers. Each MA NPU connected to grandMA2 onPC allows the software to send "real" DMX data.
With this possibility grandMA2 onPC becomes a full-fledged lighting control system with up to 4.096 parameters.
