The G-1 is IP65 certified and virtually maintenance free, it can be powered by mains or the optional battery pack - with an impressive ten to twelve hours of operation. Operation even at extreme temperatures from -10˚ C to +40˚ C makes the G-1 a true outdoor product.

The G-1 delivers extremely bright 62,000 lux at a distance of three metres and a colour temperature of 6,500 Kelvin in white light. The fixed beam angle is 2.8˚ and the zoom is adjustable down to 0.3°. The automatic focus works quickly and precisely. The fixture supports DMX512 and can be controlled wirelessly or via cable.

In addition, SGM has developed a patent-pending position preset tool that makes the operation and programming of the G-1 very easy. This tool allows manually set positions to be stored and recalled with a simple program.

Basically, the G-1 is available in two versions, with and without base unit. With the base unit, the application possibilities are particularly practical, as a rechargeable battery can be used and the device can therefore be placed completely independent of power sources.

The unit has a gobo wheel with 19 gobos - plus oscillator and one open position - and a color wheel with 14 colors - also with an additional open position - which further enhance the dynamics and dimension of the compact moving head. In addition, features such as gobo shake, split-colour effects and continuous pan rotation - clockwise and counter-clockwise.
