Based on the successful technology of the Q-7, the Q-2 is a smaller, lighter version and completes the range of compact RGBW floodlights. The Q-2 contains a combination of 432 powerful multichip RGB and 432 Cool-White LEDs ́s. These 864 LED's in total are individually controllable in 3 segments via DMX.

The Q-2 can be used universally as a colored/white floodlight, blinder or stroboscope. Due to its IP65 protection class, it can be used outdoors without any problems, as well as in the theater or TV studio due to its virtually noiseless fans. The head of the Q-7 can be tilted by up to 110° and is fully outdoor-capable.

The Q-2 incorporates all the attributes and characteristics of its big brother, the Q-7, and it can also be used perfectly in combination with it. However, the RFID and W-DMX interface available on the Q-7 has been omitted. Wireless DMX can however be easily implemented using a plug-in receiver for the XLR input.
