The RoboSpot BaseStation allows the remote control of the BMFL FollowSpot or BMFL FollowSpot LT, specially developed moving head spotlights with an integrated RoboSpot Camera.
The RoboSpot BaseStation can also be operated with a separate RoboSpot MotionCamera. In this case, BMFL Spot, BMFL Blade, BMFL WashBeam, DL7S, DL4S, MegaPointe or Pointe can also be operated as remote controlled followers.
The RoboSpot BaseStation has a 15.6" HD touch screen, on which the operator can overlook what is happening on stage.
The picture is provided either by the RoboSpot Motion Camera with its own pan and tilt or by the RoboSpot Camera mounted directly on BMFL FollowSpot. The operator gets complete control over the FollowSpot with the help of the handles of the RoboSpot BaseStation, two programmable faders (e.g. for dimmer and zoom), four custom programmable jog wheels and ten assignable control buttons. The movement of the handles on the RoboSpot BaseStation is transmitted without delay to the connected spotlight selected as a chaser.
While the chaser operator is operating the chaser, all internal values and features of the chaser can be accessed via the connected mixing console. This makes it possible to use the chasers as full-fledged spotlights in the show and to operate them only as chasers from the BaseStation when required.
Up to twelve spotlights can be controlled simultaneously from one RoboSpot BaseStation.
