The Smarty Hybrid is the most compact hybrid headlamp with CMY colour mixing system from ELATION to date. Based on the successful Platinum HFX, ELATION presents a fully equipped hybrid unit (Spot/Beam/Wash) based on the new Platinum Flex 200 lamp. This is a particularly efficiently designed system - consisting of a discharge lamp and ballast, which offers full flexibility in the choice of output. In addition, with a service life of up to 6,000 hours, values are achieved that were previously only expected from devices with LED engines.

In addition, ELATION has recently introduced a new warranty programme for the Smarty Hybrid. The warranty now covers the first two years of operation or 6,000 operating hours, whichever comes first, based on regular maintenance of the headlamp. The warranty covers the materials and workmanship of the headlamp, including the highly efficient bulb that is at the heart of the new Smarty Hybrid lamp technology.

The Smarty Hybrid provides 14,000 lumens of light output and a number of other remarkable features. The zoom range is generously dimensioned for a hybrid device with 1° to 18° in beam mode, 3° to 27° in spot mode and motion 5° to 33° in wash mode. With eight rotating and twelve fixed gobos, the Smarty Hybrid is fully equipped and enables both crisp beamwork shows and sharp projections. Two independent, combinable prisms and a frost filter complete the optical equipment.

The colour mixing is based on a CMY colour mixing system for infinitely variable colour shades and a colour wheel with 13 positions, which has defined colours and various correction filters.

The Smarty Hybrid from ELATION offers several control options. In addition to DMX 512-A (RDM), Art-Net and sACN are available, as well as the flexible wireless E-Fly system.
